Krishna Ekadashi is the 11th lunar day (Tithi) of Krishna Paksha, the dark half of the lunar month. Its epithet is Anand Prada, "inculcates happiness", and its tutelary lord (Adhidevta) is Vishvadeva (deity of a particular class).
Counted paksha by paksha, Krishna Ekadashi is ruled by Dharma. It belongs to the Nandaadi group of Nanda Tithis, ruled by Venus, and in Krishna Paksha it is called Vridhi-Karta, Mangalprada. By eye status Krishna Ekadashi is a blind Tithi.
It is Maas Shunya in Margshirsh.
