About Deepavali

Diwali, the Festival of Lights, commemorates Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and the victory of light over darkness.

Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshipped during the auspicious Lakshmi Puja Muhurat in the evening for wealth, wisdom, and prosperity.

Diwali involves lighting the home, inviting Goddess Lakshmi, and performing the grand evening Puja.

Step-by-Step Fasting Procedures:

Clean the entire house thoroughly. Goddess Lakshmi is said to only enter and reside in clean homes.
Draw Rangoli at the main entrance and place footprints of Goddess Lakshmi pointing inward.
In the evening, set up an altar for Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, offer lotus flowers, and light earthen diyas all around the house.
