The Lo Shu Grid is a fixed 3x3 magic square — 4-9-2 / 3-5-7 / 8-1-6 — onto which every digit of your birth date (DD-MM-YYYY) is placed in its matching cell, repeated for each time that digit occurs. Reading straight lines across the filled grid — rows, columns and diagonals — reveals four "arrows": Determination, Emotional Balance, Practicality and Intellect. An arrow is complete only when all three digits along its line are present in your birth date.

What if none of the four arrows are present?

It's common — most birth dates don't contain all three digits needed for any given arrow. Absence isn't a deficiency verdict; it simply means that particular strength isn't numerically reinforced by your birth date and may need conscious development.

Can I have more than one arrow?

Yes — since the four arrows check different digit combinations, some of which overlap (e.g. both Determination and Intellect include the digit 9), a birth date can have zero, one, or several arrows present at once.

Does this use a fixed or moving definition of a day (e.g. across time zones)?

The calculation only uses the calendar date in your profile (DD/MM/YYYY) — it doesn't depend on time of day or time zone, unlike birth-chart calculators which need an exact time.
